Slovak Telekom partners with CulCharge for power bank
Slovak Telekom concluded a partnership with the Slovak electronics brand CulCharge. Two years since the launch of the mini-charger cable, CulCharge is preparing an external battery with built-in USB cable on a pendant for smartphones. The CulCharge PowerBank has a capacity 1000mAh and weighs 38 grams, so it can be carried on a key pendant. It can also work for transferring data and for charging a mobile phone from a computer. The external battery's design was created in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. Two young entrepreneurs, Jozef Zemla and Viktor Reviliak, started the project and launched a crowdfunding campaign on the portal Indiegogo, raising funds for the production. Slovak Telekom provided starting capital of USD 50,000.
